The Ex-Girlfriend’s Poetry

You’ve been through every ocean trying to find someone worthy,
But no matter what you do, there’s is none that could replace me
You had the world’s ideal girl and you let her slip away
All because you thought she’d stay after all of your plays

Now she knows not only your name but also all of your game,
She has changed, evolved to someone better, never to be the same
You’ve thrown the chance of a lifetime when you broke her heart
So go ahead and weep, go ahead and regret but you can’t have her back

Look at her smile, look at how radiant and better she is without you
She no longer exist, the girl who love you, the one that you once knew
Everyone is shaking their heads at the foolishness that you’ve done
Did you really think that she will always regard you as her ‘Only One’
